Just a reminder

I have no use for racism. I will not allow racist remarks to stay on my blog.

Comments are now censored (lets face it, that is what moderation is).

Jeez folks, breathe. Things are pretty messed up out there, but whacking out and going nut job is not going to help things.

I agree with your stand on racists. But that is what the left has been spewing for eight long years. The Bush derangement crap that I have heard/seen from those who don't like him is every bit as bad as the racist remarks you have deleted. I might have even heard a tad bit of Bush derangement coming from you. Just sayin.

If by Bush derangement you mean my thinking and writing that GW Bush is a nut job who will go down in history as possibly our worst president. I plead guilty.

I think highly of his father and mother. I even strongly considered voting for him in 2000 (went libertarian instead). But it is my stated opinion that he did not meet the minimum standards of the office in his job performance and the country will be better off when he leaves the Oval Office.

As to the state of his sanity (hence derangement), I would tend to think that the job would drive anyone off the deep end. He just did not appear to grow into the job a'la Harry Truman, but instead, allowed the job to defeat him. His ill chosen advisors then accessed to the keys to the Treasury to distribute to their rich friends.

I genuinely put Bush the 43rd's job performance on a par with Pierce, Harding and Buchanan

Obama meets your standards!? Come on!

Although I suspect that in the long run you will be unpleasantly surprised by the Bush legacy, I guess my main point is that now that the shoe is on the other foot, you can expect my side to engage in the same sort of attacks. I suspect these will end up raising your blood pressure every bit as much as the left’s attacks raised mine.

No:: Obama has not been in office. I will evaluate him fairly (by my standards) on the job that he does while he holds the office.

The presidency has been littered with presidents who were slated to do well but failed (Consider Wilson and Grant) and those who were considered fools before they were in and did well (Consider Eisenhower and Truman).

What I am saying is that they have been elected in a fair election. They said things to get elected. I ask you, when was the last time you saw a campaign promise kept.

The only fair way to judge is by performance in the job. Anything else is unfair.

Actually, feel free to have a serious go at him. Politicians are open game.

I never said that I supported him, I just said that he was the best of a bad lot.
