At least this guy is open about it

Was over reading Mish and came across this Gem.

It is interesting to say the least. But it is a sign of things to come. The self-absorbed will take everything from future generations to fund their golfing and pederasty.

Soon there will be a blinking tax. .001 cent per blink, because blinking moves the air, times 3 billion people, which disturbs global wind patterns. Also, blinking causes loose eyelashes to fall out, adding to landfills, and city cleanup costs. Don't even get me started on the new shoe disposal fees, or tricycle registration...

Speaking of being open about it, here in New York our very unpopular Gov. Paterson spoke out in favor of big Wall Street bonuses: "Some people think that if you deny the bonuses, that the money’s coming back to the American taxpayers. It’s actually the other way around: If you deny the bonuses, the money stays in the firms. It’s when you pay out the bonuses that you start to get the huge tax collections that New Yorkers see.... We need to stand behind the engine of our economy in New York, and that engine is Wall Street." This met with outrage but he's telling it like it is, as far as NY city/state interests are concerned. Wall Street is the mother of all teats.
