Two weeks without being at work helps a body out. Got rid of a lot of angst and even now, at 4:51 in the AM on a Monday, I am not in too bad a mood.
While I was out and about, doing things unrelated to my normal life, getting a look at the world around me, I realize that overall I don't have a leg to stand on when I bitch as much as I do. Now, this doesn't mean that I will be stopping the process, but currently I have a pretty good idea of how good my life really is.
When I was driving back from Bend the other day, the boys were snoring and I had a couple of hours to just drive and think. For some reason Google and the internet and privacy and all that such rot came to mind and going through the middle of nowhere on the way from Antelope to Fossil I came to the conclusion that the right to privacy in an arena such as the internet is probably one of the most laughable things that the human race has ever thought of.
Really sit down and ponder it for a moment. Privacy on the internet.
